After “Haddi,” Nawazuddin Siddiqui expressed “great appreciation” for actresses.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui has made headlines for his appearance in the upcoming movie Haddi, in which he portrays both a woman and a transgender person.
The actor stated in an interview that he now appreciates the actresses’ efforts and has come to understand why they spend more time in a vanity van.
In a recent interview, the actor said to Bombay Times, “My daughter was quite unhappy when she saw me dressed as a woman. She is now alright because she understands that it’s for a part. After this experience, I have to admit that I have a lot of admiration for women that perform like this on a regular basis.
It’s a saara taam jhaam, my friend. There are so many things—hair, make-up, clothes, and nails—they take the entire world with them. Pura sansar leke chalna padta hai. Now I understand why an actress could take longer than a man to exit her vanity van. It is entirely appropriate.
I’ll be more patient from now on, haha!Nawazuddin debuted in the next film’s first still with a silver outfit and long, curly hair.
