After pleading guilty to misdemeanour charges, Cardi B is on a “spiritual journey.”
Cardi B, an American rapper, admitted to misdemeanour charges in September for a fight in a strip club in 2018. She said that doing community service has changed how she sees life.
The musician went on Twitter to talk about how her community service was going. She said that since she did it, she has been on a “spiritual journey.”
She typed: “The best thing that has happened to me is that I have done community service. Almost like a spiritual journey, because I sometimes leave these centres in tears. People we leave behind just need someone to talk to and a little push, and YOU might be the one to make a big difference in their lives.”
Fans of the rapper seemed to be standing by him. One wrote, “It’s always good to find light in dark times.”
Another praised the singer for saying, “I love this for you,” and a third said, “Good, selfless work makes the heart feel good!” While only a few people called her “inspiring,”
Cardi B was sentenced to community service after pleading guilty to two misdemeanour charges in the August 2018 battery case in September 2022. Ten other counts, including two felony charges, were dropped.
