Anupam Kher claims that Aditya Chopra and Karan Johar no longer make offers to him.
Anupam Kher, a veteran actor, has voiced sadness after being passed over by notable directors Aditya Chopra, Sajid Nadiawala, and Karan Johar despite excellent performances.
The seasoned actor confessed candidly in a recent interview, “I am not a part of popular cinema in India today. Not me. Sajid Nadiadwala, Aditya Chopra, and I are not participating in any Karan Johar or Sajid Nadiadwala productions because no offers have been made.I was loved by all of these people. I completed everyone’s films. However, I no longer hold them accountable for not considering me.
“But because they weren’t using me in their movies, I discovered a road where I did a Tamil movie called Connect and a Telugu movie called Tiger Nageswara Rao,” Kher continued. Additionally, I completed Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai. The DDLJ actor continued by saying that he genuinely believes that when one door closes, many more windows and doors open, even though it hurts him.
He replied, “Otherwise, I could have sat down and complained about how my former pals were suddenly ignoring me and refusing to recommend movies. However, it’s not a complaint, and I’m not holding it against them either. I’m only pointing out that a lot of windows and doors can open when one door closes.
Alongside Kangana Ranaut, Anupam Kher will play a character in the upcoming historical drama Emergency.
