First Cricket Test Between Pakistan and Australia

First test between Pakistan and Australia is getting towards draw. Australian Chasing Pakistan 476-4 are still 27 runs behind and tomorrow is the final day for the test match.

It is an extra-ordinary match due to many reasons. First match is being played between both teams after 24 years. The reason for long interval has been security reasons. After the Srilankan team attack by Indian terrorists the cricket came to stand still in Pakistan. Since 2009, Pakistan has been playing at neutral venues. But the year 2022 has come up with hopes and jubilation with cricket fans. This year is full of cricket for Pakistani fans. West Indies is coming back to complete their series which was suspended due to COVID-19. T20 World cup is scheduled this year and ahead of world cup, Pakistan will play T20 matches with England. Year will end with two foreign teams cricket tour to Pakistan.

Thousands of people thronged the stadium despite security check to witness the match. Cricket fans had to bear two shocking news of demise of two Australian cricket heros, Rodny Marsh and Shane Warned. Marsh was a legendray wicket keeper and Warne greatest of leg spinner in the history of cricket. Pakistani spectators turned to stadium next day with placards paying tributes to both Australian heroes.

Overall it is a spectacular start of cricket and win of cricket fans after a break of about 13 years. Cricket fans are hoping that cricket is back in Pakistan with same jubilation as it was being played before 2009.
