Heat threatens millions of children across South Asia; UNICEF

South Asia is most exposed to heat, compared to all other regions of the world.
76 per cent of children under-18 in South Asia — 460 million — are exposed to extreme high temperatures where 83 or more days in a year exceed 35 degree celsius. 1.8 million people Jacobabad, Pakistan and others areas of southern Sindh are exposed to severe heat. The data clearly shows that the heat threatens millions of children across south asia.
