In a rare interview, Riley Keough talks about her daughter’s birthday.

Riley Keough told Interview Magazine on March 29, 2023, that she and her husband, Ben Smith-Petersen, are going to have their first child together.

The 33-year-old actor, who is the daughter of the late Lisa Marie Presley, was asked about her show Daisy Jones & The Six if she became a mother after her brother Benjamin Keough died in July 2020.

In reaction, she changed the order of events. “I’ve never told an interviewer about this. Do you want to be the first? “It will go viral,” she joked. “In 2022, I became a mother.”

The Zola actress, on the other hand, did not say when her daughter was born.

In 2015, Keough got married to actor Ben Smith-Petersen. They met in 2012 while making the movie Mad Max: Fury Road.

When Lisa Marie died in January 2023, the couple found out that they had their first child. During the funeral service at Elvis Presley’s Graceland home a few hours earlier, the stuntman had made a few hints about the baby’s arrival.

“Thank you for showing me that love is the only thing that counts in life. “I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me and the way you loved my brother and sisters,” Smith-Petersen said at the funeral while reading his wife’s speech.

“Thank you for giving me strength, heart, empathy, courage, sense of humor, manners, temper, wildness, and determination. I was made by your heart.”

Us Weekly quoted a source earlier this month who said, “Riley wanted to keep the birth of her daughter a secret because she and her whole family are so well-known in other ways.”

“Ben gives me a lot of help. He is so nice and loving, just what Riley needs right now. Riley and Ben are both very open to the idea of having more children in the near future.
