Karakoram Highway is blocked by protesters due to the “misuse” of flood aid funds.

GILGIT: Flood victims from Jaglot halted the Karakoram Highway on Thursday to protest the alleged misappropriation of funds for restoration. The Hunza River was blocked last year due to flooding from a glacial lake outburst, according to the protesters, who claim that this led the water to be diverted towards residential areas.
