Pakistani athletes are greeted with heroism upon their arrival.

Pakistani athletes were greeted warmly upon their arrival from the United Kingdom after competing in the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham.

Silver medalists Zaman Anwar and Muhammad Sharif Tahir, as well as bronze medallist Asad Ali, came today and were greeted with flowers by Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) officials.

DG PSB Colonel (retd) Muhammad Asif Zaman told the media on the occasion that they had come to welcome national heroes.

“At the airport, I will personally greet gold medalists Arshad Nadeem, Noah Dastgir Butt, and other athletes.”Zaman went on to say that the players would be honoured at a ceremony and given awards.

He stated that gold medalists will receive Rs5 million, silver medalists Rs2 million, and bronze medalists Rs1 million each.Pakistan finished 18th out of 72 nations this year, with eight medals.
