“Pathaan,” starring Shah Rukh Khan, is the FIRST movie to shoot a scene at “Burj Khalifa Boulevard.”

Pathaan, which stars Shah Rukh Khan, will be the first movie ever to shoot on the Burj Khalifa Boulevard, says the film’s director, Siddharth Anand.

Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham were in an action scene that was filmed at the famous spot. The Dubai police helped the Pathaan crew and also shut down the spot so that the scene could be filmed.

Up until now, no Hollywood movie has been able to do this.

Anand said, “The hardest action to pull off in Pathaan is one that takes place on top of a moving train, one that takes place in the air with planes, and one that takes place in Dubai on the boulevard around the Burj Khalifa. No Hollywood movie has ever been able to do this.” It just seemed impossible to shoot this scene in Dubai. But the police and government in Dubai made it happen for us!”

“My friends who live on the Boulevard came to tell me that they got notices saying that you won’t be able to get on the Boulevard between these times on this day, so please plan your days. They couldn’t believe that “Oh my god, that’s for my movie!”

The first day at the box office for Siddharth’s movie was a huge success. The movie is still going strong and has made more than INR 500 crore in India.

IndiaToday says that the main roles in Pathaan are played by Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham.
