PCB chair tells team that losing is not an option.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja, he has reminded the national cricket team that losing is not an option because cricket is the one thing that unites everyone in the country.Ramiz said during a ceremony in Karachi that he can’t stand it when the Pakistan team loses a game.

“I’ve told my guys that we have to win this game.” It’s as simple as that because everyone expects us to win all of the time. So, if they lose, I simply cannot accept it. “I’m a lousy loser,” Ramiz stated during the PCB’s grassroots player development programme announcement ceremony.

The PCB chairman described his reaction when the Pakistan team loses.”When I see Pakistan lose, I feel like assaulting anyone around me.” Actually, I’m a lousy watcher. “I get scolded at home because I utterly upset everyone,” PCB continued.

Later, during a press conference, the chairman reiterated that he had reminded the national team that losing is not an option because cricket is Pakistan’s one unifying force.”This is the only sport that contributes to restoring people’s smiles.” It boosts your country’s morale,” added the PCB chairman.

He highlighted that domestic cricketers must be well compensated and cared for if Pakistan is to compete with the world’s top cricketing nations.”Cricket is a vocation, not just a recreational activity. It is a profession. We want cricket players to concentrate on their game. It is critical to provide them with adequate funds for this. We have increased the contract money and domestic match payments for the players, which will increase the level of competition among them “He stated.

He stated that the PCB cannot prevent players from playing in international leagues at random. This is because everyone wants incentives, but the board also wants players to be fresh when the team has international responsibilities, he explained.”This is a catch-22 issue, but we’ll figure it out,” he said.
