Prince Andrew wants to stay at Royal Lodge as much as possible.
Prince Andrew wants to stay at his home, the Royal Lodge.
King Charles gave the Duke of York the keys to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s old home, Frogmore Cottage, as part of a shake-up of royal households. However, the Duke of York wants to stay at the Windsor home where he has lived since 2003. He lost a number of royal privileges when he settled a lawsuit with Virginia Giuffre, who had accused him of sexually assaulting her when she was a teenager.
“Andrew is dead set on staying at the Royal Lodge for the rest of his lease,” a source told OK! magazine.
“It won’t be easy for him to move to Frogmore. He lives at Royal Lodge, and he will do everything he can to stay there.
“The keys to Frogmore were recently given to Prince Andrew, and he was supposed to move in this summer.
“(Princess) Eugenie is staying there right now to help Harry and Meghan move out while her dad fights to keep Royal Lodge. The handover was supposed to happen in July or August, but he’s not leaving.” (Reuters)
