After deciding to bowl first, Shadab Khan’s Islamabad limited Karachi to a 174-run mark, which they then successfully chased down in 18.2 overs.

Munro put Islamabad in front of the chase after scoring 58 runs off just 28 balls, and Azam slammed a furious 44 runs off the same number of balls.

Before getting bowled out due to a mix-up involving him and Azam, Munro blasted five boundaries and five maximums.

Karachi made early advances thanks to Mohammad Amir and Musa Khan.

After the teenage hitter struck Hassan Nawaz (7) for a four, the left-arm bowler Amir quickly dismissed him with a short pitch.

After Paul Stirling scored four runs, Musa, who had previously played for Islamabad, defeated the dangerous hitter.

Imad Wasim, the captain, bowled Rassie van der Dussen for 31 runs to end their 59-run partnership after the two pacers quickly took two wickets each.

Imad claimed one wicket for Karachi, while Musa and Amir each claimed two.

After Karachi Kings gave Islamabad United a 174-run target earlier, Haider Ali shone.

After losing Sharjeel Khan, Karachi Kings were in a strong position thanks to Haider’s half-century, which he completed.

The batsman scored 59 runs off 45 balls by hitting seven fours and two maximums. But Faheem Ashraf defeated him.

Shadab Khan, the captain of Islamabad, was faced by the former Peshawar Zalmi batter, who struck several boundaries against him. The all-rounder failed to take a wicket and let up 40 runs.

Wasim struck twice in one over after Haider left the field, dismissing both Matthew Wade and Imad Wasim.

Only 18 runs could be scored by the Australian batter, while captain Imad, who scored 80 runs in Karachi’s opening game against Peshawar, was returned for a golden duck. The right-arm pacer stopped the Karachi Kings’ attempt to overwhelm Islamabad with large scores.

Shoaib Malik lost to Rumman Raees despite scoring 18 runs.

After a spirited start, Tom Curran sent opener Sharjeel Khan (34) back to the pavilion.

Rumman Raees, an accomplished bowler, made an early breakthrough for his team to signal the start of the game and his return to Islamabad United. On the final ball of his first over, the left-arm bowler bowled James Vince (#4) with a stunning in-swinging delivery.

Wasim, Rumman Raees, and Curran each got two wickets for Islamabad United, and Ashraf also claimed a victim.

James Vince, Sharjeel Khan, Haider Ali, Shoaib Malik, Matthew Wade, Imad Wasim, Imran Khan Niazi, Andrew Tye, James Fuller, Musa Khan, and Mohammad Amir make up the playing XI for the Karachi Kings.

Hassan Nawaz, Asif Ali, Azam Khan (wk), Shadab Khan (c), Faheem Ashraf, Tom Curran, Mohammad Wasir Jr., and Rumman Raees are all members of Islamabad United.
