Royal Rift Intensifies: Prince Harry not privy to Princess of Wales’ Cancer

The last time two brothers appeared before public with their wives was after Queen’s funeral in 2022

The devil lies in the details, indeed. The 75-year-old British King Charles is said to have sent a message to his estranged son, Harry, by keeping him in the dark about the cancer diagnosis of Princess of Wales Kate Middleton.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who lead a strained relationship with Prince William and Princess Kate, were reportedly not informed in advance of the future Queen’s cancer video statement.
If royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams is to be believed, the decision was made due to a lack of trust in the Sussexes.

“The reason of course is that for some four years, they’ve caused endless problems for the Royal Family and so they can’t be trusted,” he said. “Dire warnings were also apparently issued that Meghan and Harry were being trusted with the information in advance and mustn’t abuse that trust.”

“Meghan and Harry are no longer in the primary loop – when something is about to go public, they are told (or not told) on a case by case basis rather than being automatically included. The feeling in the family and among Kensington palace officials is that Meghan and Harry have to be very carefully managed simply because they can’t be trusted.”

The Duke of Sussex has made damning allegations against his family which strained his relationship with them. Harry talked about private conversations in a Netflix show.
King Charles and Prince William, who still love him, feel they cannot trust him because what they say to him in private may well end up in an interview later down the line.

Harry and Meghan wish Kate ‘health and healing’

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reached out to the Prince and Princess of Wales following the announcement of Catherine’s cancer diagnosis.
Prince Harry and Meghan said they wished “health and healing” for Catherine.
They also called for her and her family to heal “privately and in peace.”

Recently, King Charles had also been diagnosed with cancer, and Harry flew to London in early February to see his father a day after he began treatment.

Video Message from Princess of Wales

In a short video message, Princess of Wales said she was in the early stages of treatment after a cancer diagnosis.
It was a “huge shock” after an “incredibly tough couple of months.”
Yet, she still seemed full of hope when she said, “I am well and getting stronger every day.”
The princess had abdominal surgery in January, but it was not known then if there was any cancer.
Subsequent tests revealed cancer had been present
