Salman Khan’refused’ to purchase Mannat from Shah Rukh Khan.

In an interview, Salman Khan said that before Shah Rukh Khan bought Mannat, he was asked to buy the property, but he turned it down out of respect for his father. Salman was recently asked by journalist Faridoon Sharyar what one trait about Shah Rukh he wished he possessed.

The Dabangg actor responded by saying, “That bungalow of his (Mannat). But when I had just begun, I had received it first. “What would you do in such a vast house?” asked my father, Salim Khan, a film producer and screenwriter. I want to ask Shah Rukh, itne bade ghar mein karta kya hai tu (what does he do in such a big house),” Salman joked.

With his wife Gauri Khan, sons Aryan and AbRam Khan, and daughter Suhana Khan, Shah Rukh lives in Mannat, a neighbourhood in Bandra, Mumbai.
