Shan Masood, who married Nische Khan this month, held a valima event on Friday.
The valima reception in Karachi followed Shan’s January 21 Peshawar wedding. His Peshawar-born wife Nische accompanied the left-handed batter.
Former cricketers and PCB Management Committee Chairman Najam Sethi attended the ceremony.
A villa photoshoot of the newlyweds preceded the celebration.

Pakistan bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi will also marry Shahid’s daughter Ansha in February. Rauf married Muzna Masood Malik last month.
All-rounder Shadab Khan married Saqlain Mushtaq’s daughter, too.
Kuwait born Masood. 27 Tests, five ODIs, and 19 T20Is. He represented Pakistan in the 2022 T20 World Cup.
Shan also signed a two-year contract to lead Yorkshire County Cricket Club in 2023.
The left-hander is the son of famed financier Mansoor Masood Khan, and his uncle Waqar was a Minister of State in Cabinet advising former prime minister Imran Khan on revenue and finance.
The Kuwait-born Pakistani has scored nearly 2,000 runs in 27 Tests, five ODIs, and 19 T20Is.
He debuted in Tests against South Africa in 2013 and in ODIs and T20Is in 2019 and 2022.
Masood has over 9,000 runs in 144 first-class matches.
