The COVID-19 positive rate in Pakistan has dropped to 2.5 percent.

Pakistan’s coronavirus positivity rate fell to 2.53 percent after the country reported 421 new instances of the disease in the previous 24 hours, according to National Institute of Health (NIH) data released Tuesday morning.

According to the most recent NIH numbers, the country reported 421 illnesses when 16,648 tests were performed overnight, bringing the country’s overall coronavirus case count to 1,560,250.

Furthermore, no deaths from the virus were documented in the county during the same time period.
