THE MOTORWAY POLICE HAVE BEGUN SATELLITE MONITORING OF PASSENGER BUSES.
The Motorway Police have begun satellite tracking of passenger buses across the country in order to regulate overspeeding.
Sector Commander Motorway stated in a statement that trackers were installed on over 6500 passenger buses. Intercity and interprovincial buses were being tracked by highway police.
According to the Sector Commander, the police met with transporters of passengers’ buses equipped with trackers. He also stated that the Sector office now has access to the tracker system.
The Sector Commander Motorway explained that the police utilise the tracker technology to check the speed of the passenger buses. He stated that over 100 automobiles had been punished around the country.
