There are rumours that the Korean version of Breaking Bad will have 4 seasons.

The Korean version of the American show Breaking Bad will reportedly have four seasons. Hankyeoreh reported on February 14 that Lee Chang Yeol will be in charge of the remake and that it will have more than one season. Even though all of the seasons are still being planned and a male lead is still being sought for the show.

The story of this very popular show is about a high school chemistry teacher named Walter White who finds out he has cancer. Walter starts making meth to pay for his expensive medical bills. After five seasons, the show was over, and it went on to win 16 Primetime Emmy Awards.

Allkpop says that Netizens were a little surprised when the remake was announced. People were probably surprised that a show about drugs that focused so much on them was made in Korea, since South Korea is known for having strict laws against drug use. Others complained about the trend of remaking shows from other countries and asked why the Korean film industry didn’t just make its own movies and TV shows.
