Where will Karachi’s Eid ul Adha cow markets be set up?
As Eid ul Adha gets closer, people, especially children, are getting excited about the sacrifice animals they will buy this year. The Sindh government has released a list of eight places in Karachi where cattle markets will be set up.
In a notice, the provincial government said that setting up cow markets in places where they were not allowed violated Section 144. This was done to avoid traffic jams, dirty conditions, and security problems.
It also said that the Malir Cantonment Board’s cow market, which was once set up on the Super Highway, would be moved to Taiser Town this year.
Here is the full list of places in Karachi where cattle can be sold legally:

He said that police and Rangers have been sent in and that there are now eight security checkpoints on the way to the market. Also, people in charge of security have been put at the important intersections that lead to the market.
