Will Smith set to trek across the globe in new Disney Plus travel series, report
Will Smith is set to star in and be an executive producer for the new Disney Plus travel show Pole to Pole.
National Geographic said that the show will be on Disney Plus. As the title suggests, Smith will have to travel 26,000 miles from the South Pole to the North Pole.
After Welcome to Earth and One Strange Rock, Pole to Pole will be Smith’s third project for National Geographic.
The show is made by Smith, Miguel Melendez, and Terence Carter, all of whom work under the Westbrook label.
In a statement about the news, National Geographic Content president Courteney Monroe said that the brand’s “strategy is to tell bold, best-in-class stories that spark curiosity and motivate people to explore and care about our world.”
Pole to Pole has not yet been given a start date.
The news about the travel show comes just a few days after Smith said he would work with Martin Lawrence again on a fourth Bad Boys movie.
