Wrestler Zaman Anwar won silver after losing the Men’s Freestyle 125 kg final on Friday to Canada’s Amarveer Dhesi. The two wrestlers had a hard battle that ended with Amarveer winning by a score of 2-9.
Zaman faced England’s Mandhir Kooner in the semifinals.Pakistan now has five medals in the ongoing games, thanks to Zaman Anwar’s win. So far, the country has won one gold, two silver, and two bronze medals.

Earlier, Inam Butt took silver in the Men’s Freestyle 86 Kg wrestling event. In the Men’s Free Style 65 kg Wrestling event, Inayat Ullah won a bronze medal after defeating Scotland’s Ross Connelly.

Noah Dastagir Butt earned a gold medal in weightlifting for his country. Shah Hussain Shah of Pakistan earned a bronze medal in Judo after defeating South African Thomas-Laszlo Breytenbach in the Men’s 90 Kg event.
