After death threats, Salman Khan increases security with guns.

According to The Hindustan Times, Salman Khan has sought for a handgun licence in order to defend himself following recent death threats. According to sources, Salman’s application for the licence was also granted by the Mumbai police a few days after he first submitted it in response to threats made against him by mobster Lawrence Bishnoi in July 2022.

In addition, Lawrence is thought to be the brains behind the murder of Punjabi musician Sidhu Moosewala. Actor Salman Khan applied for a firearm licence for self-defense at the Mumbai CP office after receiving a threat letter, according to a statement from the Mumbai Police to ANI. Lawrence has had the Dabangg actor on his hit list ever since he was allegedly involved in the blackbuck poaching case in 1998.

Salman has been attempting to increase his security since receiving the threat; in addition to requesting a licence to possess a firearm, the actor has also purchased a bulletproof Land Cruiser for roughly INR 1.5 crore.
