As Pakistan reports nine deaths, the COVID-19 positive rate approaches 4%
According to the National Institute of Health (NIH), Pakistan has reported 806 new COVID-19 cases and nine coronavirus-related deaths in the last 24 hours.
According to the institution’s data, a total of 20,949 COVID-19 diagnostic tests were performed in the last 24 hours, with 806 samples returning positive.
Following the discovery of new cases, the COVID-19 positive ratio increased to 3.85 percent, up from 2.84 percent the day before.
According to NIH data, 160 COVID-19 patients are being treated in intensive-care units (ICU) at various medical facilities around the US.
With Pakistan recording hundreds of COVID-19 cases every day, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has advocated rigorous adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), including mask wearing and social separation during Muharram gatherings.
