At the beginning of her modelling career, Kangana Ranaut was turned down because of her height.

Kangana Ranaut recently talked about her early days as a model. She said that she was always made fun of for her height as she tried to break into the fashion business.

The star of “Queen” talked about how hard it was for her to start out as a model in Delhi. She was born in Himachal Pradesh, but she moved to Delhi to become an actor.

In a recent interview, Kangana said that ramp models in Delhi are supposed to be 5’11 or 6 ft tall. She also said that her height of 5’7 kept her from getting good modelling jobs.

Before she moved to Mumbai for her acting job, she was asked if she had ever been there.

She said, “I was between 12 and 13 years old when I left my home in Himachal. I was living in a dorm in Chandigarh while I went to school there. Later, I went to Delhi, where I stayed for a year or two. In 2004, I had a modelling job in Mumbai, after which I threw away the phone that my agency had given me. When they told me to go back to Delhi, I even ripped up my ticket. I told them I didn’t want to go back.”

The 36-year-old actress made her Bollywood debut in Anurag Basu’s Gangster. She played opposite Emraan Hashmi and Shiney Ahuja, and she is still one of Bollywood’s most famous actors.
