At the coronation of King Charles, all of the royals took part in a historic parade.

In a historic Coronation event today, May 6, King Charles and Queen Camilla were made the official King and Queen of Britain. They are now taking part in the Coronation Procession.

The famous Procession will take the King, Queen, and other high-ranking royals from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace, which is about 1.3 miles away.

The King and Queen lead the parade in the Gold State Coach. Their sister, Princess Royal Anne, Colonel of the Blues and Royals and Gold Stick in Waiting, is close behind on horseback.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate Middleton, are in the first carriage behind the King and Queen. They are going with their three children, Princes George, Louis, and Charlotte.

The King’s youngest brother, Prince Edward, and his wife, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, and their children, Lady Louis Windsor and the Earl of Wessex, are close behind them in their carriage.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and Princess Anne’s husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, are in the last carriage of the Procession.

Queen Elizabeth II’s cousins, the Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra, follow behind in a state car.
