Deepika Padukone reveals that THIS is her “most favourite” cinema role.

Deepika Padukone confessed that her favourite character is Piku from the 2015 film of the same name, as reported by Hindustan Times. Deepika stated that Piku is her favourite character in her 15-year career because, at this stage in her life, she feels like Piku and relates a lot to the character.

Deepika stated during an interview in Mumbai, “There was something extremely wonderful about the energy in that film.” I believe my sister (Anisha) and I have reached the age of Piku. Piku has a very special quality about him. And it’s one of the films that keeps coming up in discussions.

That is the stage of life that I am currently at.That appears to be my favourite (character) at this point in my life.” The actress went on to say, “I was aware that I would be working alongside two incredible people (actors Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan), but what makes for great collaboration is when you are not competing with your co-stars and are truly invested in telling a good story, which is what we are there to do.

I don’t believe Irrfan was attempting to outdo Mr Bachchan or anyone else. “It was a lovely collaborative effort, and we were all involved in giving it our all,” she continued.Deepika appeared in the 2015 daily life drama film Piku starring Amitabh Bachchan and the late Irrfan Khan. In the film, she portrayed a strong-willed, ambitious woman.
