On Tuesday night, Amitabh Bachchan said that he had tested positive for COVID-19.Bachchan shared the information on Twitter and stated: “I just received a positive COVID+ test result. Please get yourself checked out and tested if you were near me or were around me.”

The actor hasn’t yet provided any information on the disease’s symptoms or severity.According to Hindustan Times, the actor got the coronavirus for a second time after being hospitalised for COVID-19 earlier in 2020.

The filming of Kaun Banega Crorepati 14, which the 79-year-old actor is hosting, may have to be postponed for a few days due to the actor’s present health condition. Bachchan’s next film appearance will be in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, which will be released on September 9, 2022.
