Hajj flights will begin in South Punjab on May 21.

MULTAN: The district government has started making plans for the Hajj flight service from South Punjab, which is set to start on May 21.

On Saturday, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Umar Jahangir made the news at a meeting of the department of religious affairs and district officials.

The DC asked the district offices to help the pilgrims in any way they could. There will be special camps set up to vaccinate and train the travelers.

The DC also said that 15,000 travelers will be given help and training at the Haji Camp at Fort Qasim Bagh.

In Haji Camp, all banks and government offices will set up their desks.

He asked all offices to give out duty roasters, including WASA, the Waste Management Company, the Municipal Corporation, and the Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO).

The head of Hajj, Rehan Abbas Khokhar, gave a talk about how the holy pilgrimage works. He said that the district office would help keep pilgrims safe and show them the way.
