Hrithik Roshan discusses the motivation behind the hugely successful film “Krishh”

According to The Express Tribune, Hrithik Roshan said in an interview that The Lord of the Rings, a well-known fantasy film series, served as the inspiration for Krishh, India’s first superhero picture.

When discussing the recently released teaser for the acclaimed franchise’s prequel, The Rings of Power, Hrithik made a comparison between The Lord of the Rings and Krishh.

According to Krishh star, “I have a small connection to The Lord of the Rings that I don’t think anyone is aware of. My father turned on The Lord of the Rings, Part 1 one random day in 2004. He watched the movie and was unable to stop. He watched parts two and three after being unable to stop.

He watched parts two and three after being unable to stop. Then he called me and wouldn’t stop raving about how they had taken this brilliant idea and developed it into such an amazing progression. He then questioned, “Why can’t we do that?” Yes, but what are you talking about? I responded.

When asked why, he responded, “Why can’t we take Koi… Mil Gaya, one of our earlier movies, and have a progression?” Krrish was born at that time. Therefore, Krrish wouldn’t exist if The Lord of the Rings didn’t exist.

Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik’s father, will write and direct Krishh 4 in the meantime. According to earlier reports, Krishh 4 filming would start in June of this year.
