Jennifer Lopez speaks openly about reuniting with Ben Affleck after 17 years.

Jennifer Lopez discussed finding true love while revealing how she reconnected with Ben Affleck after they split up in 2004.

After her initial split from the Argo star, the Marry Me star revealed that she always knew there was a “real love” out there for her.

J.Lo stated in an interview with Vogue, “Obviously, we weren’t trying to go out in public.” But I never shied away from the fact that, for me, there was always a real love there, a true love there.”

“People in my life know that he was a very, very special person in my life,” she added. “Those feelings for me were still very real when we reconnected.”

Lopez went on to say that Affleck approached her after he ended his relationship with Ana De Armas to tell her that he raved about her in an interview.

Following this, the couple began talking and hanging out again, rekindling their romance after 17 years.

The actor-singer went on to say that she and Affleck “lost each other” and then “found each other” again, adding, “Not to dismiss anything that happened in between, because all of those things were real too.”

“All we’ve ever wanted was to kind of come to a place of peace in our lives where we really felt that type of love that you feel when you’re very young and wonder if you can have that again,” the mother-of-two explained. Is it possible? Is it true? “I think everyone has those questions.”

“You go through all these relationships, searching and connecting and disconnecting with people, and you wonder, ‘God, is this all there is to life?'” Is it like a carousel, a roller coaster, or a carnival ride?’ Then it settles down. “However, the journey there is a mystery to everyone,” Lopez added.
