Mariyam Nafees criticises PDM in her statement “Presser after presser”

Since the Supreme Court (SC) rejected the request to form a full court bench on petitions related to the recently held Punjab chief minister’s re-election, including a review of its interpretation of Article 63-A, Pakistani actress Mariyam Nafees, who is very outspoken regarding the political situation in Pakistan, has recently criticised the Pakistan Democratic Alliance (PDM) for boycotting the proceedings.

PDM head Maulana Fazlur Rehman and other leaders in a press conference. Mariyam posted on Twitter, “Presser after presser, darr kitna lag raha hai inko (how much are they afraid)”.PDM in short: “Give verdict of our choice or we are not playing. After providing a poor performance.”

In a press conference on Monday night, PDM Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and other leaders stated that they recommended the full court bench for the supremacy of justice. Sadly, rather of granting our request, the judiciary rejected it.
He said, “If the judgement of the judiciary is rejected by the full court, we also reject it; we will not attend before this bench, and we will boycott the case.
