It’s important to note that the Ramadan moon was seen on March 22, and the first day of the holy month started in the country on March 23.

People are getting ready for Eid on April 21 because Eidul Fitr is coming up soon. Khalid Aijaz, Secretary General of the Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council, said on April 8 that the moon would not be visible on April 20.

The official told Geo News that the crescent that marks the start of Shawwal will be seen after 30 days of Ramadan are over. This means that Eidul Fitr will be on Saturday, April 22.

Aijaz also knew when the moon would be seen. He said that the new crescent will be born at 9:13 a.m. on April 20 and will be less than 10 hours old on that day.

“The time must be more than 19 hours for the crescent to be seen, and even if the sky is clear on April 20, the moon won’t be seen,” he had said.

He also said that Ramadan will last 30 days and that the first day of Shawwal will be on April 22.
