Safe City Islamabad director found dead at home

Director System Safe City Islamabad Abdul Qadir was discovered dead with a noose around his neck in his house in Margalla Town on Saturday morning, Islamabad Capital Territory Police said.

According to the police, Qadir was a grade-19 officer with the National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) who was on deputation for the Safe City project in Islamabad.According to police, the deceased’s body has been transferred for an autopsy, and forensic investigation teams are currently on the scene.

Taking note of the event, Islamabad’s IGP has asked the deputy inspector general to undertake a thorough investigation.The police extended their condolences to the deceased’s family and stated that more information will be given when it becomes available.
