The fifth season of “The Crown” is expected to “blow people’s minds.”
The fifth season of The Crown will premiere in November of this year. While viewers excitedly await the newest episodes of the royal drama, Edith Bowman has offered her opinion on the next episode.
In an early response to the next episodes, Bowman, who hosts the official podcast for the popular Netflix series, called them “unprecedented.”Bowman stated, “This season is going to blow people’s minds for so many reasons,” in an interview with metro.co.uk.
“That stuff always happens because a new cast is involved. We’ve become accustomed to seeing Olivia [Colman], Josh [O’Connor], Tobias [Menzies], Emma [Corrin], and Helen [Bonham-Carter], now we have a completely new cast,” she stated for the audience
The upcoming season of the popular historical drama will jump ahead to Buckingham Palace in the early 1990s, when Charles and Diana made their formal separation announcement in 1992.
“Almost as if they have always been there. When you see them on TV for the first time, you’ll realise you haven’t breathed in almost three minutes, according to Bowman.
Imelda Staunton replaced Colman as Queen Elizabeth II in the upcoming season. Lesley Manville has replaced Helena Bonham-Carter as Princess Margaret, and Jonathan Pryce has replaced Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip.
Princess Diana will be played by Elizabeth Debicki instead of Emma Corrin, and Dominic West will play Prince Charles.
