The Prime Minister Declares Rs. 15 Billion in Aid for Sindh Flood Victims

Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, has made a donation of 15 billion rupees for the benefit of the flood victims in Sindh. Additionally, he stated that the aid would be given to the worthy families in an open and honest manner.

Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister who was speaking at the ceremony in Sukkur, said that heavy rains and flooding have resulted in enormous destruction.

More than 900 people have perished and millions of more have been displaced in this unprecedented level of devastation. The 2010 flood was eclipsed by this one.

The PM also mentioned that Balochistan, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are experiencing flooding. Rain and flooding can also harm crops. Homes are also destroyed, and millions of people are now homeless. Furthermore, communication systems are hampered, and livestock has taken the biggest hit.

Shehbaz went on to say that the federal government and the provinces collaborate. In addition, relief has been given to the families of the victims and 28 billion rupees have been allocated for the victims in the first phase.

According to the PM, the current rain broke the previous record of 40 years. There is water everywhere; it appears that the Sindh River is spreading it over everything, yet the government is playing a crucial part and has wonderful and suitable measures. The Sindh government is active.

Additionally, Sindh’s BISP offers 25,000 per home, and aid will be given to households that qualify.

I also announced a handout for Sindh flood victims in the amount of 15 billion rupees. Khurram Dastagir has also been told to fix the electrical problems.
