Uncontrolled dengue outbreak in Pakistan

Dengue has begun to turn dangerous in Balochistan, Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Over 2,000 people have been struck by the dengue virus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as a result of torrential rains that have created mosquito breeding grounds, according to a report from Karachi.

In Karachi’s hospitals, the designated wards for dengue patients are currently filled. 125 new instances of the mosquito-borne illness were reported from Punjab. Moreover, data from the health department stated that dengue killed four people in the province.
