When is the deadline for filing income tax returns?

Salaried business individuals and associations of persons (AOPs) have until September 30, 2022, to file their income tax returns with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

In a previous statement, the FBR claimed that taxpayers are given clear instructions on how to fill out all of the relevant details on the form.

Furthermore, income tax returns can be filed online via smartphones by downloading the Tax Aasaan application from the Google Play Store/App Store.

The FBR has made available the income tax return forms for the fiscal year 2022. It should be noted that different income tax return forms have been uploaded for salaried, AOPs, business individuals, and businesses.

Income tax returns can be filed via either the FBR’s web portal (Iris System) or the Tax Asaan application.
