A 500 rupee per tola drop in the price of gold

ISLAMABAD-24 carat gold was sold per tola for Rs212,000 on Saturday as opposed to Rs212,500 the day before, a decline of Rs500. According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the cost of 10 grammes of 24 karat gold dropped by Rs428 to Rs181,756 from Rs182,184, while the cost of 10 grammes of 22 carat gold dropped to Rs166,610 from Rs167,002. The price of 10 grammes of silver reduced by Rs85.73 to Rs2,186.2 while the price of a tola dropped by Rs100 to Rs2,550. According to the Association, the price of gold dropped from $1,923 to $1,919 on the global market.
