Alia Bhatt wants to avoid feeling “left out,” thus she will add “Kapoor” to her name.

Alia Bhatt has recently been in the spotlight for a variety of reasons. She has enjoyed one of the best years of her life thus far, scoring three straight hits and marrying Ranbir Kapoor, the love of her youth.

Alia recently told Mid-Day that she will formally add the Kapoor surname to her name in order to avoid feeling excluded. She made it obvious that she would keep her screen identity, nevertheless.

Alia declared, “I’m going to do it” (adding the Kapoor surname). I must include all of these. I’m excited to do it. She continued by saying, “We are now going to have a child. You understand what I mean when I say that I don’t want to be the Bhatt while the Kapoors are travelling together? I don’t wish to feel excluded.

As she waits for the release of her latest film, Brahmastra, she has had three consecutively successful films this year—RRR, Gangubai Kathiwadi, and Darlings—making her the only person in Bollywood to do so. In addition, after being married in April of this year, she is now expecting her first child with Ranbir Kapoor.
