The tola of gold has increased by Rs200 to Rs142,600.

In the local market, the price of 24 karat gold per tola increased by Rs 200, selling for Rs 142,600 on Saturday as opposed to Rs 142,400 the day before. According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of ten grammes of 22 karat gold jumped to Rs112,068 from Rs111,911 while the price of ten grammes of 24 karat gold grew by Rs171, going from Rs122,085 to Rs122,256.

At Rs. 1540 per tola and Rs. 1320.30 per ten-gram gramme of silver, respectively, the prices remained unchanged. According to the association, the price of gold dropped by $5 on the world market and was sold at $1747 instead of $1752.
