Despite the boycott, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh appreciates Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha.’

Despite the online boycott movement against Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, Indian Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Mann praised the actor and his entire team.

According to the Times of India, Mann expressed his appreciation for the film on Twitter, writing, “Today I got a chance to watch the movie Laal Singh Chaddha… a movie that sends a message to maintain mutual fraternity and not let seeds of hatred grow in tender hearts.”

“Congratulations to Aamir Khan and his crew…” said the Chief Minister.

Previously, actor Hrithik Roshan lauded Aamir’s performance in the film, which enraged netizens, who began criticising the actor.

Laal Singh Chaddha is an approved remake of the Tom Hanks-led Hollywood blockbuster Forrest Gump.
