During his speech at Sandhurst, King Charles mentions his boys Prince William and Prince Harry.

During his speech at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, King Charles talked about how proud he was of his sons Prince William and Prince Harry.

During Friday’s parade, the 74-year-old monarch got a little teary-eyed as he congratulated graduates. He also gave a shout-out to his sons William and Harry, who both graduated from the same school after going through tough training.

Charles was happy and proud to be the father of William and Harry. On May 6, he and his wife, Queen Consort Camilla, would be properly crowned.

During his speech at Sandhurst, King Charles mentions his boys Prince William and Prince Harry.
He went to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst for the 200th Sovereign’s Parade. This was a parade where Officer Cadets who had trained for 44 weeks were commissioned as Army Officers.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, King Charles, who is 74 years old, started his speech by saying, “I am so happy to be with you today for the 200th Sovereign’s Parade and to share in this most special of days for those of you who are being commissioned as the future leaders of the British Army and the Armies of our close allies.”

“I know how hard you’ve all worked over the past 44 weeks, and I hope you’re all proud of what you’ve accomplished. “Of course, I know you wouldn’t be here without the help of your family and friends, and I’m glad to see that so many of them can be with us today,” the King said. “As the father of two graduates of this Academy, I remember their graduation parades, and I know that when they see you on parade, they will be very proud.”

People says that the reference was a nice way to honor kids who both graduated from Sandhurst in 2006.

The visit of King Charles comes just a few days after Prince Harry said he would go to his father’s famous event next month.
