ECP DIRECTS ALL PARTIES TO SUBMIT ASSET DETAILS BY AUGUST 29TH.

Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has ordered all registered political parties to provide details of their assets by August 29. According to the order, all political parties must give details of their assets for the fiscal year 2021-22.

The parties must declare their annual revenue as well as their sources of income, according to the ECP. The parties must also disclose their economic structure, according to the ruling. All political parties will be required to demonstrate that they have not accepted any illicit funding.

After Petitioner Akbar S. Babar’s financial expert ended his remarks, the electoral commission concluded PTI’s prohibited funding case hearing on June 21. The ECP reserved its decision after hearing arguments from both sides of the case.

“The case is concluded, and the cases of the other parties will be concluded soon,” CEC Sikandar Sultan Raja stated, congratulating the parties. “Seasoned jurists appeared in the case, and various sensitive issues arose,” he stated. “Democracy is critical for the country.” We are not concerned about what is being said outside; the subject will be resolved fairly,” CEC stated.

The PM, PPP, Maryam Nawaz, and PDM parties have asked that the judgement in the PTI forbidden funding issue be made public.
