Elizabeth Olsen didn’t know that “Love and Death” is based on real events.

Love and Death on Hulu was based on a real story, but Elizabeth Olsen didn’t know that.

Love and Death tells the story of how a woman in a small Texas town was killed by her best friend. Elizabeth Olsen said she thought the story in the script was made up.

“No one told me in a clear way that it was based on a true story. So I thought it was based on short stories,” Olsen told the magazine Variety.

The Marvel star, Elizabeth Olsen, said that she loves being able to try new things when acting and having to figure out what people on screen are trying to say. It’s what made her decide to take the part.

Olsen says, “I don’t know what people want from something they’re watching, other than to be entertained.”

“But I do think that we want to see people fail and see how they deal with it. I think we like to watch people make decisions we’d never make because it’s like trying to watch someone solve a puzzle.”

Love and Death is based on a true story about a religious mother named Candy Montgomery who kills her best friend Betty Gore.

Lily Rabe from American Horror Story plays Betty Gore alongside Elizabeth Olsen on Hulu’s Love and Death. David E. Kelley has been in charge of the series.
