Eve Harlow shares the story behind the wigs in ‘The Night Agent’ finale

Eve Harlow says that she came up with the “wig” idea for the last episode of The Night Agent. As one of many evils that hound the heroes during the 10-episode season, Ellen is a major figure on the Netflix Show.

The star said more about the idea of the wig:

“The idea for the wigs was actually my idea,” she shares with a laugh. “I pitched it to Shawn and he was like, ‘OK, cool. I’ll wait to see what other people think.'”

In retrospect, “The fact that everybody went along with it is kind of astounding,” Harlow notes, “because I feel like a lot of times actors have ideas and we get told ‘Yeah,’ but then it’s never mentioned again.” But in this case, the head of the hair department, Caroline Dehner, “had this amazing selection of wigs that I felt helped me with the character and added to the crazy,” Harlow says. “Man, those wigs were f—ing epic.”

Harlow says, “I think it’s hard to know how anything will turn out when you’re doing it, so I’ve just tried to take what I can get from each part at the time.

“Like, of course I know that [The Night Agent] is ‘No. 1 in 93 countries around the world,’ as the Internet keeps telling me!” she says. “But the truth is that I’ve been in other shows that have been very important to me personally and where I’ve met people who have become very close friends.”

The Night Agent is an American action-thriller TV show made by Shawn Ryan. It is based on Matthew Quirk’s book of the same name. It aired on Netflix on March 23, 2023.

The show follows FBI Agent Peter Sutherland as he is thrown into a giant plot about a Russian mole at the top levels of the United States government. Peter then begins search for the spy.
