Green energy is discussed between Pakistan and Denmark

ISLAMABAD: Muhammed Ali, the acting federal minister of energy, and Jakob Linulf, the Danish ambassador to Pakistan, met on Thursday to examine prospective partnerships in Pakistan’s green energy programmes and energy conservation. They examined initiatives and projects funded by the Investment Fund for Developing Countries in Denmark (IFU) and the Danish Energy Transition Initiative (DETI).
The prospects and methods for wind energy in Pakistan were also explored in great detail. Ambassador Linulf emphasised the recent growth in bilateral trade between Pakistan and Denmark, particularly in the textile industry, and pledged to further develop ties in the green and sustainable energy sector, including Pakistan’s efforts at energy saving.
