Pakistan issues a commemorative Rs75 note for Independence Day.

Pakistan has released the design of a Rs75 commemorative note to commemorate the country’s 75th anniversary of independence.

The State Bank of Pakistan announced the design of the new currency note in a tweet.

It bears portraits of the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, and Allama Iqbal, as opposed to other currency notes, which only bear the Quaid’s portrait.

“Portraits of the Quaid-i-Azam, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, Allama Iqbal, and Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah appear on the note to commemorate and acknowledge their contributions to the Pakistan movement. The image of Markhor on the reverse of the note emphasises our commitment to environmental sustainability “According to the tweet.

From September 30, 2022, the note will be available for public issuance.
