‘Pathaan’ creates history as it earns INR 200 crore domestically in four days
Pathaan, which was directed by Siddharth Anand, is a big hit at the box office in India, where it has made more than INR 200 crore.
On January 28, the movie made between INR 51 and INR 53 crore, bringing its total domestic take to INR 217 crore.
The numbers from Day 4 were shown by Trade Analyst Ramesh Bala. He wrote, “#Pathaan Day 4: All of India First guesses: 52 Crs Nett… Crosses 200 Crs Nett in four days.”
Box Office India, on the other hand, also shared news about Day 4. “Pathaan could make around 52 crore nett in Hindi if it hits another 50 crore nett, which would be the third time since it came out and the only day it hasn’t done so is Friday. It also made more than 200 crore nett in just four days, reaching 212 crore nett. The jump on day four will be around 40%, and the biggest multiplexes in the biggest cities will see even bigger jumps.
“The movie will go up even more on Sunday, when a lot of mass centres open back up. It won’t be surprising if some circuits get the same numbers on Sunday as they did on Thursday. In fact, it won’t be a surprise if all India hits the Thursday total. It may be a lot to ask for, but up to this point, it has always done more than expected.”
Pathaan has now made more than INR 400 crore around the world.
