PILOTS ASLEEP ON FLIGHT WITH 157 ON BOARD

Two pilots on a Batik Air flight fell asleep midair, causing the aircraft to veer off course on a flight from South East Sulawesi to Jakarta.

Preliminary reports show the plane was off-path for 28 minutes. Both pilots, deemed fit to fly and negative for alcohol, succumbed to sleep due to exhaustion.

Remarkably, all 153 passengers and 4 crew members landed safely in Jakarta, with no harm or damage reported.
