What is WhatsApp planning to release next?

According to WABetainfo, WhatsApp, the instant messaging service owned by Meta, will soon make it possible to check status changes within the conversation list.

WhatsApp is currently rolling out the capability to view status updates within the chat list after releasing several enhancements for status updates, such as the option to respond to status updates by selecting one of six available emojis.

Although the feature is still in development, WhatsApp today made it available to some beta testers.

The users only need to tap a contact’s profile picture to read the status update, per the WhatsApp tracker, because it will also be available in the conversation list when they publish a new status.

Simply mute all status updates so they won’t appear in the chat list any longer if you don’t even publish or view status updates and you don’t like this function, according to WABetainfo.
